3 Fun and Free Trampoline Games You Can Play Today

A trampoline offers more than just bouncing- they’re a fantastic platform for a variety of games and activities that you can introduce to enjoy the trampoline in different ways. If you're looking for something new, here are five free games that will get everyone jumping, laughing, and playing together.

Trampoline Game #1: Popcorn

Don’t judge a book by its cover! Popcorn is a classic trampoline game that’s easy to play and never gets old. Here's how it works:

  • ❓ How to Play: One player sits in the middle of the trampoline and curls into a ball, wrapping their arms around their knees—this player is the "popcorn." The other players jump around the trampoline, trying to make the "popcorn" bounce and "pop" (uncurl). The goal of the game is for the "popcorn" player to stay in a ball as long as possible. Once they "pop," the game resets, and a new player can take the popcorn position.
  • 🏆 Make it Challenging! Make it a competition by introducing time to the game, who can hold on the longest. OR can the others make the popcorn pop in less than 10 jumps?

Trampoline Game #2: Tag

Tag on a trampoline adds an extra layer of challenge and fun. The bounces make it harder to catch your opponent, and the soft surface means safe landings.

  • ❓ How to Play: This is just like the classic game just on a trampoline! Choose one player to be "It." The goal is for the "It" player to tag someone else, who then becomes the new "It." The game continues until everyone has had a turn being "It."
  • 🏆 Make it Challenging! You can add rules, like only hopping on one leg or no double bounces, to make it even more interesting. Another is you can only bounce/run near the outer perimeter of the trampoline.

Trampoline Game #3: Simon Says

Simon Says is a game of following directions, and it becomes even more exciting on a trampoline.

  • ❓ How to Play: Someone get to be “Simon” and gives commands to the other players on the trampoline, such as “Simon says, jump once” or “Simon says, touch your toes”. Simon gives a command without saying "Simon says," and a player follows it, that player is out. The last person standing becomes the new Simon.
